If I said author's mom should have been F2P would he be offended?
Why should it be free to play? People spent years of their lives working hundreds of hours to make the game yet the author wants the game to be free to play. How does the author purpose the devs make money then? lock the characters behind a paywall? Use Pay 2 win mechanics?
Because it's a lot of fun. It has a feeling that most games can't capture, I can't quite describe it.
The beta for Overwatch has already provided me a lot more fun than the $60 I paid for vanilla Destiny. Buying Destiny at launch is still my biggest regret of this generation. I blame myself for blindly trusting Bungie to deliver.
Besides, on PC you can get the base version of Overwatch for $40 which seems like more than a fair price, considering all future DLC and game modes will be free.
Pretty much all characters in Battleborn are ugly, especially the females.
Battleborn was ok but I didn't see myself ever buying it. After playing the Overwatch beta, I'm hooked on the game and would most likely be buying it.
It's simple. Battleborn is the one with the ugly looking characters.
It's a free game. PC gamers are not entitled to shit.
I completely agree. I went through 3 Razer Onza controllers and they all developed different problems until they quit working. And the build quality was so bad, even standard 360 controllers had better build quality.
@Fin You can download the Xbox Accessories app on Windows 10 and it lets you change the sensitivity, create custom profiles and remap the buttons just like on Xbox One.
Look, I'm not on either website's side but I remember having seen threads in Neogaf where they simply copied complete articles from Dualshockers without linking them because they have Dualshockers on their ban list.
So now UK = the world?
Actually, the Quantum Break IP belongs to MS. Remedy is just the developer.
Steam streaming itself is pretty good. It works fine when I stream to my Surface Pro 3. But I had a terrible experience when streaming to the Steam Link that I returned it.
My network set up is very solid an I had both my PC and Steam Link wired to the router but the Steam Link streaming quality and input lag were so bad. Definitely not worth the $50 they're asking for it if it doesn't the one job it is supposed to do.
As bad as N4G is, it's still not worse than NeoGaf. Probably more than half the people complaining in that thread don't even have the game nor even are they ever going to buy it no matter what.
Well, maybe some of them will buy it if they could find an exploit or a price error to get it for $10.
Who? And I like how the article description is trying to make it sound like this is a company I should've heard of by telling me they funded a game called “Red Ash: The Indelible Legend”! What?
Ok Danielle, since you're here complaining about us for never having real girls, why don't you shut up and come over here to fix that. We'll get you laid and then we could just "play games to game".
I think the split is going to be 1% on Xbox, 2% on PC and 100% on PS4 because 99% of Xbox players only play Halo and Gears, and 98% of PC players only play World of Warcraft. Only Playstation players are "true gamers" who play all kinds of games equally.
You'll have to bring attention to it for them to even consider removing it.
Me too. I don't yet have a PS4, so I'd definitely prefer an upgraded PS4.5 when I decide to buy a "PS4" when we're already 3+ years into the "generation" rather than buying hardware from 3 years ago. The same goes for Xbox if I didn't already have one.
With all this hardware upgrade talk, I think this would be the future if implemented right.
It should be something like this:
-PS4 (2013)--> Base model- p...
@robtion Good thing you DO NOT have to pay for loot boxes, you can get them just by playing the game.
